Azienda Agricola Hibiscus

Hibiscus is a small winery that finds its cradle in Ustica, an island of volcanic origin in front of Palermo. Founded by Nicola Longo in the Eighties, today her daughter, Margherita Longo, inherits the property, who manages it faithfully with the help of her husband Vito Barbera.

Curiosity

L’Isola Bianco is the result of the blend of two Sicilian grapes par excellence: Inzolia and Catarratto. The yield per hectare is very low, this means even more how much a wine of a certain gustatory and olfactory importance is. Aged only in steel, it maintains loyalty to the territory by expressing minerality and flavor in the glass.

Author Suggestion

“A wine that evokes summer, the sea breeze, the desire for a holiday. Ideal with fish-based dishes with no particular structure, try it also with a vegetable fry and don’t forget to keep a spare bottle in the fridge. During a lunch with friends, you won’t even have time to uncork the first one. ” Gus’s Team
