Appellation: Aglianico del Vulture DOC Vintage Wine: 2018 Size: 0.75 l Soil: Volcanic (Pozzolana) Extension of the vineyard: 7 ha Type of plant: Guyot Log density per Ha: 10,000 logs per ha Average age of the vineyard: 60 years - Old vineyard Average production per ha: 42 ql/ha Vinification and  aging: The grapes harvested in small baskets are taken directly to the cellar, selected and de-stemmed. With almost whole berries it is placed in steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation (maceration lasts the same time as fermentation). Following is drawing off and soft pressing with lung press. The malolactic fermentation is carried out in 200 liter barriques (50% new) for a total of 12 months of refinement. Further refinement of 12 months in the bottle before release.
